?? what did the twert say

    To answer your question, accurately:

    Christine Pelosi said:
This Epstein case is horrific and the young women deserve justice. It is quite likely that some of our faves are implicated but we must follow the facts and let the chips fall where they may - whether on Republicans or Democrats. #WeSaidEnough #MeToo

There are probably some unspoken rules among the disgusting elites... "Do what you want, but don't get caught, and don't rat anyone out.

NY Post: “Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein never once checked in with city cops in the eight-plus years since a Manhattan judge ordered him to do so every 90 days — and the NYPD says it’s fine with that.”

Like it or not, when the word "billionaire" appears before your name, the rules change. It's not fair. It's not right. It just is.

An observation about that: being rich means you can get good advice from smart people about how to avoid problems caused by certain interests. Or at least mitigate the problems caused by those interests.

It can mean that. Alternately it can mean that you can buy your own rules.

Can't rep TLex and you for those comments but they are both accurate. The rules are written by smart people so that if you pay them or their friends down the road, you can take advantage of the subtleties in the rules.

When the logic seems strangely funny,
    remember, always follow the money.

I've wondered where he fits in the big machine, if he pays out all this cash and entertains the powerful just so he can keep up his pedophilia habits or if there's more to the story. Maybe people with interests in dc pay him to entertain his various clients and influence them on their behalf. His hobby could at least generate enough money to be self supporting or turn a profit.

True, but that doesn't account for being given a cushy sentence and being ignored when it comes to sex offender laws.

You would think that all the other 'smart people' would shun and ostracize anyone who would do such work; you know, they're better than that. Or does that only happen in politics

Well, well, well. "Follow the facts," Democratic strategist Christine Pelosi now advises fellow liberals in the wake of billionaire and high-flying political financier Jeffrey Epstein's child sex trafficking indictment this week. Some of "our faves" could be implicated in the long-festering scandal, the Pelosi daughter warned, so it's time to "let the chips fall where they may."
Too bad Ms. Pelosi's mommy hasn't adopted that same attitude of accountability. While serving as the highest-ranking elected woman in America for decades, San Fran Nan has chronically downplayed, whitewashed or excused the sleazy habits and alleged sexual improprieties of a long parade of Dem pervs -- from former San Diego Mayor Bob Filner to former New York Reps. Eric Massa and Anthony Wiener to former Oregon Rep. David Wu to former Michigan Rep. John Conyers and current presidential candidate Joe Biden.
