I checked down detector and it listed a few. And some ISPs too

Mine are all Xfinity and no issues for me either.

I’ve not had any issues. My parents had issues and we have the same ISP.

My phone has been fine too, but some in my office have had a lot of issues with theirs

Just internet.

Pretty simple.

Plug modem in, got on their chat, they did their thing and was up and running in like 5 minutes.

Router was just as easy.

See, I thought modem = router = gateway. Is that not the case? Because I've only got the one box (well, plus the tv boxes).

Can be depending on what you buy.

I bought seperate equipment.

But they do make the all in one like concast equipment.

See, I'd have no idea what to do with that. I'm very much a "plug and play" kinda guy. And preferably someone else plugs it and I just play.

I still think of modems as that thing that makes the fax machine noises when you connect to the internet.
