Even though the media and those with TDS want to diminish the accomplishments Trump did better than all previous republican candidates but Bush in the afterglow of 9/11 attracting non-white votes. Bush got 28% Trump in one if the most divisive elections ever git 26%. He also increased his vote percentage with all the individual non-white segments.

Newsweek reports polling that shows higher numbers than politifact (a notoriously anti-Trump outfit.) What would be record numbers.

“According to surveys conducted by Edison Research and published by The New York Times, Trump has boosted his share of the Black vote by 4 percentage points since 2016, when just 8 percent of Black voters supported him.”

“The commander-in-chief has also seen his backing among Hispanic and Latino voters jump by 4 points over his first term, with 32 percent telling exit pollsters they backed Trump on Tuesday compared to the 28 percent who said so in 2016.”

Like I said, it is within the historical average.
Contrary to the fears of some Democrats, Biden maintained solid support among African Americans. Biden received 92% of the Black vote, statistically indistinguishable from Hillary Clinton’s 91% in 2016. His support among Black women was never in doubt, but President Trump’s alleged appeal to Black men turned out to be illusory. (His share of the Black male vote fell from 14% in 2016 to 12% in 2020 while Biden raised the Democrats’ share from 81% to 87%.) African Americans confirmed their status as a unique group of voters for whom the contemporary
People not in the Trump or bust cult are not exactly "TDS." He didn't move that needle. Part of why he lost and part of why this idea that it's moving now is a myth.

Republican Party holds no discernible appeal.

It was either the best showing by a republican as reported by the NYT or the second best. That is not the norm.

Brookings is a worthless outfit bought and paid for by international operators. Their leader had to step down because of illegal activities. Great source…

She articulated her position well, especially in contrast to the insanity of Vivek. I think the contrast with her and Biden on stage would be an easy win in November where Trump is still a long shot. I think her ideas are much more mainstream.

No she didn't. She didn't explain, at all, how she is going to resolve the debt while simultaneously invading half the rest of the planet. She just gave platitudes and talking points.

She has no ideas, at least that she's spoken.

Vivek has given a complete explanation of the means to the ends. He knows how to get what he's advocating for. She doesn't.
That also makes me question the intellect of people that can't comprehend this. You are free to call Vivek insane, but at least he's capable of explaining his positions, and how he's going to execute his ideals.

    Wow. 4 whole percent?

This is a different game now. They have stupid college aged indoctrinated youth now to make up for whatever drop in Blacks voting R. I’m starting to see more and more young people in rural areas dressing like ClownWorld™. Even at the Corydon Walmart, for **** sake. It’s usually been farmers and meth heads you see there until the last couple years.

Gen Z is the new voting bloc. D’s just have to have an army of ClownWorlders™ to harvest them because they’re not voting without help. It’s why Boebert only narrowly won in rural Colorado.

Ramaswamy was correct, except the for the length of her heels. I can believe she wears 5” heals, not 3”. But she’s female Dick Cheney all day long. Might as well call her neo-****.

Its data, not an opinion… He finished in the historical average.
Trump attacks facts with attacking the source too.

This is part of what drives me nuts about Trump. He tells people not to vote early and to vote on the day or he tells them he has the votes and doesn’t need them. Then NW Georgia stays home…

R’s need to be outside churches and gun shows collecting ballots. We have to play by the same rules.

Right and you are turning data into negative opinion of an accomplishment, the data says Trump did better than the historical average. But before we too far in the weeds, it is polling, with inherent bias of the poll makers so it is not absolute data…

By adding the most popular individual Americans follow for news?

    That's what's wrong with "news"

    It's commentary not news.

News is something you are lucky to get for 3 minutes at the top of the hour.

I hope you are not implying that the vaunted era of Walter Cronkite was “news”? It was as bad as today, maybe worse, because few had the ability to check what was broadcast and no reasonable way to disseminate the information if they found it. The gates have been broken and we are better off for it…

It's also toxic to those not watching. Tucker would be a treasure trove of comments and ads.

Jan 6 clips, felon labels and Tucker clips. How to lose an unlosable election 101.

Doesn't matter how much you love him.
Doesn't matter how bad Joe is doing.
Wars. Inflation. Crime. Border. Don't matter

With Trump as the nominee- this will be the issue of discussion.
