I've always wanted an old 'burb.

I had one go by me Thursday on a car hauler. It was probably a mid-late 60's if I had to guess. It was lifted a little and was a baby blue color.

Maybe I'm strange, but I prefer stock height 4x4's. Lifted does nothing for me.

I've always preferred the notch's in the fox body.

I like the notches and the verts.

Me too..that is why I am building one to run on drag radials

Well of course the crank gear and chain do not match up to the cam sprocket on the Olds. Of course they don't.

Not sure who bought the stuff but it is all wrong. That brought me to a screeching stop today.
I always tell anyone that I am building anything for to let me pick out/pick up/or order the parts.
If I am building the puzzle I would like to have the proper parts.

Everything we have put in the engine save for the crank and rods is new.

He does. We had the "Discussion" yesterday.
These engines are not difficult but they are different than the run of the mill Chev. piece.
It seems they went the long way around solving issues.
It will be a sweet heart once everything comes together.

Then I pull out my engine and put the new flat tops in it. Re-cam it and screw it back together.
I have a Trans now. Will need a converter and some good parts for it.
