I'm right there with you only worse.

Of the case of .308 ammo I bought thinking of MM, I have 2 boxes unallotted. I told myself that would be perfect and I'd use them in MM's Saint.

That lasted about a week until KYGunCo sent me an email yesterday that led me to a Bergara Premier HMR Pro .308 on sale. Geez...I got up this morning and ordered it. Will use a scope I have but still need to buy a base and rings. I new spare AR parts were breeders but I didn't know a box of ammo in a caliber I didn't own a gun for would get me. I swear...I DIDN"T KNOW!!!

Jagee better hurry and get his share of the ammo or it might disappear.

Lemme root around in the basement Tuesday. I'll see if I have some loose rings that might work.

Patience and Rookie already answered it. It’s AR15 vs AR10 platforms. 6.5G or 6.8 SPC are the go to hog rounds for the AR15.

I was gonna go shooting today, but someone rented the clubhouse at the range, so the place gets closed. Could have went to the public range in Huntington, but didn't feel like dealing with idiots and dragging a 2 hour range trip into 4 hours because of the constant cease fires. So, like yesterday, I've been sitting on my butt looking at tool deals online. And my head is ready to explode. :n00b:

I got all my work done this weekend. Glad to be holding the couch down now... What a long one. Cousin sent me a link to these 2 trucks the other day, I only needed a few parts for our truck, but it was cheaper just to buy the darn things.... Lots of wheel time and time to get them off the trailer. Luckily the guy loaded them with his tractor!

Time to fix our truck, part one and make my money back. Then start building the other.

    I have a plan.... I think.....

Good afternoon peeps. Holding down the command center. Hope all is well.

Found myself cleaning the garage this morning. Pickle lady is good to park back in 'er for the winter. May burn them brownie points on Thur or Fri at the range. I feel the urge to run some .45

Well that was fun. After looking at tools all weekend, I ordered 2 replacement batteries for my Craftsman drills instead. $33 for a 2-pack shipped on Amazon.

I'm tired of spending money on stuff I really don't "need". Yeah, it would be awesome to have all new tools, but in reality they wouldn't get used most of the time. I looked at my list of house projects and none of them require any of the new tools I wanted to buy. My drills and saws still work, the drills really just needed new batteries.

I am still planning on buying a leaf blower, trimmer and new mower come spring time. Still leaning towards the Ego brand at this point.

You are one Cool Cat, Tarzan ! Now that I have sufficient .308 (thanks to you) :chest:, I've got a few rounds with your name on it ..... so that you can still try out my Saint.

That Bergara that you chose is the exact model that I've looked at myself ..... as I still want a bolt-gun in .308. Are we twins ? ;)

I've been stripping the old liner and paint out of my S10 bed. Got it prepped between church services. Should be able to primer it tomorrow. Then to get it lined again.
