Yep, I see a ton of stuff from Thursday in the thread along with stuff from yesterday and this morning. Very confusing.

The "what have you found" thread has good info on what's going on. Evidently the new forum tracks posts not by date but by post number and somehow those are being screwed up when missing content is restored and it's putting things out of order. Very odd.

Indeed. There seems to be duplicate post numbers with different time stamps:

Something tells me the system needs to be set to date order to fix this, if that's a possibility, cause this is getting old.

When replying it seems to just add 1 to the post count. So it puts the reply deeper into the thread, I guess to keep it more self-contained.

If the indexing is messed up, that would explain how quoted posts are being attached to the wrong post
