I agree with you. This will be a 'dam if you don't dam if you do' scenario.I think that’s what they “left” wants , then they can say see ! Them crazy gun people shouldn’t have guns !
This is what happens when democrats steal elections next up is our constitutional rightsText for Bill 127
Looks like the gist of it is
1) Registration of all firearms with database being accessable by law enforcement, military, any govt. agency, and the general public.
2) Federal license to own or purchase a firearm.
A) Mandatory training to own and purchase.
B) Mandatory psychological exam to own and purchase a firearm.
C) Mandatory purchase of insurance to own a firearm.
3) Licensing fee of $800
4) Illegal (not NFA) to own a magazine that holds more than 10 rounds.
5) Description on what constitutes military style weapons
(angry rant clipped) The bad decisions were the countless compromises we made over the decades, giving up a little every time. (More angry rant/insults clipped)
LOLThe points (plural) are many...
Top of the list is mass shootings.
Unless *YOU* have a definitive way to keep firearms out of mass shooter's hands, the rest of the population IS eventually going to ATTEMPT to do something about it.
Those attempts may be (and probably will be) misguided.
The absolute and utter refusal of so called "Law & Order" types to not only follow the law,
BUT THE INTENT OF THE LAW,
is what will eventually bring more controls & restrictions down...
Since so many have expressed they directly oppose, and refuse to do dealer/instant background transfers, that mild restriction will be much more harsh when it's revisited.
Law enforcement has been sadly lacking on their end of things also.
Some straw purchasers have been charged, but only after the firearms was used in serious crime.
That needs to change.
Some 'Private Sales' sellers have been charged, but again, only after serious crimes were committed with the firearm.
See Kenosha shooter for example.
This also needs to change.
ANY background check, or simple check of drivers licence would have kept the Kenosha shooter from purchasing the rifle, but the seller just wanted the cash and didn't care a damn for the law, intent of the law, public safety or anything else...
Unless you are my age, *YOU* have "LOST" exactly nothing.
Most of the people complaining were alive in 1968, or owned automatic/automatic devices in 1984, and the little restriction of the 1994 "Assault Weapons Ban" (cosmetic inconvenience) expired in 2004,
Indiana hasn't imposed any new restriction ever that I can remember.
Most just throw a fit because they were told to throw a fit by extremist PROPAGANDA.
Now, if you lived in New York or California you would have a complaint leg to stand on, but here it's just whining when you aren't hurt...
UNLESS/UNTIL *YOU* come up with an idea how to stop the mass shooters, and extremist idiots taking over capitol buildings, and decide to comply with current laws/intent of those laws, there WILL be new laws/restrictions passed to make the general masses feel safe (even if they aren't).
It's just the way of the world, like Japanese-American internment camps during WWII, just like the 94 "Assault Weapons Ban", and a hundred other dumb ideas that have come & gone.
What you and so many others failed to absorb...
Having your RIGHTS to own firearms on your driver's licence/state ID card is automatic, instantly certifies your rights.
The only way to have that removed is by doing something that gets you restricted, like commiting a qualifying crime, having a mental illness where you are legally disqualified from having firearms, ect.
Advocating that EVERYONE, regardless of age, criminal record, mental illness, ect has some 'RIGHT' to be armed to the teeth is beyond silly, it's dangerously criminal.
The idea YOU should be able to sell firearms to underage, criminals, mentally ill makes YOU dangerous & criminal also.
SINCE YOU SIMPLY REFUSE TO PARTICIPATE IN CURRENT SOCIETY, FOLLOW CURRENT LAWS/INTENT OF LAWS, *YOU* become the problem...
And *YOU* are only 30% of the voting population, not enough to block a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT, and 2A could cease to exist entirely...
Roll that one around in your head a while...
The passing of this Bill would cause a civil war. Total violation of the 2nd
LOL. Are you still trying to win? You're starting to come across like a federal agent trying to get people to say something stupid on the internet. If someone does, do you have a buddy that will reach out and offer to get them some C4 or something?Firearms owners are 30% of the voting population...
Takes at least a 34% minority to block a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT.
We don't have the votes to stop 2A from being severely restricted or entirely removed from the Constitution should it come to that.
2/3 super marjority carries the day.
It's time to think strategy instead of tactically or the potential is there to lose the war long term.

Lol. As I said before, may your chains rest lightly upon you.Already did, I don't have a dog in the fight.
Remember, I can, and already have passed the background checks...
Nothing in that bill draft that covers NFA firearms.
I'm pretty sure I can forego a semi/civilian AR or AK clone and just keep my NFA versions.
AND, calling me a 'Rat' won't get you anywhere at all, no points for name calling, making false accusations.
At no time have I ever expressed any opinion on anything but following both the word & intent of the law for myself and anyone I deal with.
If YOU want to break the laws, or intent of the law, that's entirely on you.
Something about birds of a feather in there somewhere...
I was only born with my balls and my word, I won't break either, so conspiracy theorist/slow/shiftliss types are about as worrysome to me as a passing fly on a sunny day...

All ********. Every bit of it. Your side can't win legitimately because their ideas don't mix with freedom. Go start another weak minded country somewhere else where you can get permission before taking a ****.
