That’s an awesome price if legit. Has anyone bought the KSD grips lately? The owner used to post on the S&W forum a lot but hasn’t in awhile. I was curious if they were still good to go?

The Hogue 2 piece grip replacing the 1 piece grip that comes stock.
They are a little meatier, which I like, and I like the rubber vs plastic that comes stock.

Which factory S&W grips do you guys prefer, curve or straight back? Looking at options for the 5906 and prefer thinnest available, the Pachmayrs that came on it are "fat".

S/W 5906 on top. Is it shooting any better with the wider rubber grips?
Yes, this pic today (Fr.04.26.2019) is a little better than on 04.19.2019.
I'm not seeing much difference in the 115 or 124 grain at only 20'.

Older pic. 5906 top right and middle. Not as good as above.

Straights and if I find them cheap enough and in great to excellent condition I will buy them. I think I have 2 sets for my 9s and 1 extra for my 4506.

Got a chance to put 190 rounds through my police trade in 5906 yesterday. Zero failures and I found the gun enjoyable to shoot with decent accuracy after I got acquainted with it. For some reason it reminds me of a Sig P226 when I hold it. The DA was smooth and the SA wasn't too bad either. I'll sit down tonight and order a few things for it. Thanks again for posting the link 1775usmarine.

This is the post that got me about 2 weeks ago before I went to church:

This is what happens when I get up too early. :dunno:
But, now I am now the happy owner of a 5906 with new Hogue monogrips and new leather OWB & IWB holster.

Possible wood grips in its future.
There is a darker set I like better, but it is a fuzzy pic.

I should search for a full size slide so I can reassemble my 5906ssv clone back to a Plain Jane 5906 if I get bored
