I will play my part with pride !
I particularly like the one in the red hat. Good start on your gnome collection....
The old school lasers are super cool.
The gnomes are the wifes business. I thought of bringing one of the lasers to see how far off I am just aligning by sight. Otherwise it's amazing how laser technology has come since the early to mid 90s.
Got the police trade-in 5906 picked up yesterday. Pretty dirty, but did a full detail strip and she cleaned up very nicely. Really neat gun to work on actually. The barrel looks new on the inside. Now she's cleaned/lubed and ready for a range trip before anything gets replaced/upgraded/ordered.

And don't forget the 70s and 80s...
Before solid state we had helium neon lasers that were huge as were the batteries to power them.
Most needed about 10,000 volts just to get ignited, then 1,000 volts to run after that.
I remember reading about The Terminator and how the special effects team built the laser and ran the wire up his arm to a battery pack. And don't forget the 70s and 80s...

I got my Hogue monogrips, but haven't put them on yet.
Be curious when I get them on if it will change my shot placement.
20' using S & B 115 grain.
I meant to use some 124 grain but was in a hurry to get home since I'd been trying out 5 other guns.
Head shots still low and right.
Torso shots low but not right. Go figure.

It was a pretty cool laser thoughThat's the top pix.
I just threw that in for fun. I believe they started that project in the late 70s, early 80s since the movie was finished in'84. I don't know if they ever continued to R&D it better other than using an external battery pack. I have seen a revolver, I think a Colt Trooper, that had a similar set up but with an extended grip for the batts. It looked ridiculous.
Sorry for the threadjacking.
