How should a Christian view gun control?

It's an entirely different thing to be martyred for your faith than just contribute to the body count of a murderer. I would gladly give my life to save others, either by sharing the Word when it costs my life or advancing on an active shooter with a firm grip, proper sight alignment, and...

      Looking for a weed eater.

Echo/Shindaiwa all the way. Tried out the new Echo battery model and was really surprised at how capable it was. Never thought the cordless model would have enough power or battery life but I was proven wrong. Echo is a trimmer/blower company that also makes chainsaws Stihl is a chainsaw...

      Clean, shoot, carry?

I would never carry a firearm after cleaning without firing at least a mag through it. Stuff happens, don't want to find out when you need it that a careless mistake was made and the thing won't cycle.

      Tracers through a suppressor?

Shot lots of tracers through suppressesors with no problems. Well except for when the can was glowing and they started coming out melted, got a few baffle strikes from fragments but I knew it was destructive when we did it.

      Alcohol on a rifle range

Shot a match in Tennessee that once you were done shooting for the day you could have a beer. My scorer had a beer while scoring me and he did fine, I cross fired an X for my first shot off hand. Hmmm I wasn't bothered by his drinking, and I needed one after that.

Hey you 2 strokers, Oil question

I got to attend a destructive testing lab a while back sponsored by a 2 stroke manufacturer. We could not hurt an engine with name brand oil at 100:1, the killers were old stale fuel sticking piston rings and overheating due to restricted engine cooling. The walmart oil in the blue bottles...

Turned away at the colts game because my 5 month old had no ticket

My wife went to 32 team websites, 27 do not require tickets for small children. The Saints don't require tickets until 5 years old. Only 5 teams require a purchased ticked, Colts, Steelers, Packers, Browns, and of course the Patriots because they are the devil. most issue a free pass so they...

Turned away at the colts game because my 5 month old had no ticket

This is our 7th, never bought a ticket for a baby for anything in the last 16 years, not even the Jimmy Buffet concert we took a 4 week old to.:)

Turned away at the colts game because my 5 month old had no ticket

My temper got the best of me and I threw them at the ticket window, my wife picked them up and sold them. We both wish we had given them to the couple behind us that drove from Cleveland with an infant but my irritation with the No Family League kept me from thinking clearly.

Turned away at the colts game because my 5 month old had no ticket

Got tickets to today's game for my wife and I, got turned away at the gate because we didn't have a ticket for 12# 5 month old Violet. For just $114 I could have bought a ticket for her. So irritated I'm not thinking real well. It's probably a published policy and I should have known but...

      Gun Podcasts

Worth listening to at least a couple old the old proarms cast. The Bonaci jewelry store robbery, of as good a shoot and aftermath as possible. And another one, "some guys name I don't remember" case, of a shoot gone horribly wrong due to an DA trying to build political capital. The GunDudes are...

      Home schooling questions

Be ready for this. She will want to buy curriculum it will be $400+ and she will say, "I know it's a lot but we can use it for more than one of the kids." Expect to buy a second $400 curriculum for the next kid. Kids learn differently and she will have changed her mind by the next year. That is...
