VW Touareg
The diesel is sweet. Too bad they jacked up our emission standards and killed it's fuel milage
BMW X5.
You can get the smaller engine or the larger engine, enough room for a few adults, enough room to haul stuff...
It will hold up over time, many options.
(I buy used, would not buy a new BMW as the price is to high)
Nothing takes a hit driving it off the lot like a beamer. Only buy one if you can afford to fix it or work on it yourself. The X5 is a sweet ride.
LOL
Wife and I are in the market for a newer SUV. Something nice that can be used as a comfortable, safe, 4x4 family vehicle.
Figured it would be smart to get one before we have a family of our own.
Find the oldest highest mileage Lexus RX you can and test drive it. It will amaze you how well they hold up. Like a BMW I wouldn't buy a new one but their CPO cars come with great warranties and generally come from people who took excellent care of them.
