Well, it's not something that I did, but my wife said, during a discussion of the recent EAS 'test' , that she wanted to get her HAM license. Headed to radio shack today to pick up the Tech book. Mine is 15 years old, and I'm not sure where it is.
Received the 5 alice packs with frames I won on ebay. All in great condition. Got all for 10 bucks each free shipping. Started packing and organizing them. Still need a couple more for carrying in the vehicals. Added food to my pile in the basement. Working on water storage. Get to live a mini event since my furnace crapped out and the part is back ordered.
Got a couple more mags for my AR (up to 10 now, still want many more)

Doing research and upgrading my BOB and first aid kit
Got 150 feet of 550 paracord
Had a great in depth discussion with a close friend about the survival and preparing topic. Shared a bunch of great info with each other and helping each other out with ideas and planning.
Last night I started reading reading the book "raising chickens for dummies". Its amazing how much more knowledge can be gained with just a few minutes of reading.
Shipped off my crappy backpacks to Major Surplus. Only had them since April and both have been sitting in my truck/car respectively, and each of them had a side pocket that manifested faulty zippers. Hopefully, I'll get better luck with the next ones.. In the meantime, my emergency packs are sitting in piles in a spare bedroom...
Discovered a situation with the John Deere 2840 Diesel this morning. steam in LARGE quantities coming from the Crankcase this Morning after Idling for like 20 minutes. Head is off and looks like a trip to the Machinist is in order to resurface the head and flip a new head gasket on it. Keeping my fingers crossed that this is all I really seen...
Since last updated I converted some retirement fund to cash to metal, beans and bullets..

Took my daughter to the range on Sunday to get in about 40 minutes of range time as well.
More buckets from the bakery. Rearranged a couple more bags.
Repacked my truck (had to have the fuel pump replaced and removed everything from the bed in order to remove the bed from the frame. Thanks to my son & friends ) My son also replaced the circuit board thingie for the wiper blade motor. (They would stop at the most inopportune moment - OR keep running after they were turned off )
Printed out a list of possible supplies (100 things that disappear first)needed to stock for a co-worker. He seems to be "getting it" FINALLY. (Of course, after hearing his son-in-law talk about preparing. I'm just a "lowly" woman, what would I know? )
