sources tell ABC the threat escalated when someone shouted "gun" at Trump rally. Source with direct knowledge says no weapon found, and the incident began from a "medical situation" that caused shoving.

There was no assassination attempt, as campaign official Jack Posobiec is currently tweeting.

I can't imagine the military would be fundamentally different from corporate structure where less competent people at higher levels are often promoted just to get them out of the department. So then, more competent people are passed over. When I worked for a defense contractor years ago the "Quality Director" was promoted to plant manager at a different facility after he was caught doing some shady things for personal gain, which resulted in a law suit against the company. He was incompetent. He should have been fired.

Holy ****! That's unconstitutional. Citizenship is defined in the constitution. And citizenship is a requirement for eligibility. Period. The president does not have the authority to define what is a citizen, for the purposes of determining who is eligible to vote. If the Obama does not agree with the constitution, he may seek to change it through the prescribed means. But his phone and pen have no authority to do it.
