We have a NAS drive down right now so we can't access some of our data.

That's why every IT company in the world stresses redundancy

we have the redundancy. we have paper hard copies stored and cd or DVD's of all the projects. This is just the legacy drive that runs our work station backups. so no lost data just frustrated with a piece of equipment.

I get to go to a meeting with the hubby and another man from his work, today.

Company van = no weapons policy
Meeting place is school administration building = no weapons law
I'm feeling a little neked already.

Wonder if I could keep my knife in my chest pocket still? Nope, not worth the risk.

If your company has to spend any money on the NAS, You should look into turning into a SAN.

NAS = Network Attached Storage. Translation: Lots of networked harddrives acting as one.

SAN = Storage Area Network. Translation: Storage server with lots of harddrives acting as one with redundancy.
