I mean, what if you are in the middle of some big police thing and suddenly you are crowning... I mean the lincoln log is ready to come out and join his buddies in the cabin... what then? :dunno:

You drop a Stink Pickle and shake your leg!! Or you can always go in the back seat and take the car to the jail and have the trustees Clean it up just tell them that the last guy you arrested did it!! :D

One would have to imagine if he was in the middle of a "big police thing(ie, high-speed chase, shootout, etc)," his butt would be so puckered up that nothing is slipping out.:dunno:

    Meter box or breaker box?
Breaker box. Mine is the "old style" I guess. The guy at the hardware said the breakers have a "clip" on them now so they won't fit in these "old" style boxes.
He showed me that the "new" boxes have a split in the main bus rail where each breaker fits on it.
Any of this ringing a bell?

That my friend is one of those situations you hope to never have happen. We have all been there, at least close calls anyway. It's just one of those reasons to "stay regular" so you minimize it as much as you can. I have had friends have ask the people they were on a call for to use their bathroom and then proceed to desimate it.

Go to electrical supply house with a breaker to match it up.
Stay the hell away from the DIY stores. Most of those guys have absolutely no effen idea what they are talking about.

How "old style?" Does your breaker have on/off switches on it, or does it have fuses you manually switch out when one blows?

BTW, I'm not an electrician, but I've had to switch out my breaker and meter boxes in the last month with the help of my electrician uncle and I asked him about every question under the sun while doing it, so I wouldn't need anyone's help next time it happens...

I retain information pretty well, so if you have a question that may have came up while changing out my boxes I could probably answer it for you; if it didn't, then I'll be little to no help.

Edit: I'm a tard...I just reread your post and you answered my first question.

Take jclarks advice first for the easy, cheap fix...If you can't find what you are looking for, a new box is around ~$230 and isn't hard to install at all.

You have never seen a mad plumber until I take a nasty whiskey crap in a faucet box and hide it in the bin with their other faucets.

We were at General Quarter at sea one day and the ship was buttoned up nice and tight. The sweat started beading and my guts were rumbling. I tried to go up and out a scuttle (round opening in a horizontal door) and make it to the head. Nothing doing. So, the Marines were out of their berthing and I dumped in the trash can. I was going to bag it and tag it, but it was too nasty...so I left it. The grunts were mad the rest of the cruise. :D
