Well, about six weeks ago the engine was finished for the Bee. About four weeks ago I did something to my back which kept me on complete bedrest. Then two weeks ago I had surgery on my back. Over these past couple weeks a friend of mine went into my shop at work, sandblasted and painted my engine compartment, installed the engine and transmission, hooked everything up and got her running. This was all done without my knowledge. What a fantastic friend.

So I drove the wet skid pad this morning in south bend. Placed 4th in class, 30th overall of 71. Beat Travis Pastrana who was driving an awd Subaru. Awesome. Currently waiting to run at autobahn in Chicago.

Update on CP’s old boat anchor. She’s getting really close now. Power Tour in a month, crunch time.

That looks gorgeous SB. It’s awesome to have good friends that help.

Thank you. Yes it is great to have such good friends.

Not only a great friend but he has some skills.
    Looks fabulous.

Also positive thoughts/prayers towards you healing up.

Your correct, he has fantastic skills. There is nobody else I would have wanted working on the Bee. His 62 Sport Fury has been in several magazines, the man loves to detail engine compartments. He just finished up his 58 Del Ray with a 6.0L in it. It will not be long before it is in a magazine as well.

Thanks for the healing wishes. Going slowly, but better than it was before.
