I'm always impressed by the talent people have in turning old refugees from the scrap yard back into nice machines. My Dodge was still in pretty good shape, nothing like those.
Sometimes its just about the parts. You save the ones you can. The Olds was on the way to scrapyard, and was bought on the side of the interstate. It has a pretty cool story.
The 4 barrel carb in the picture wasn't released to the public until '52. It is a very interesting car.Those hoods were dealer display items. Usually never made it out to the public.
