I got this idea from twitter yesterday. Someone was live-tweeting a radio interview with president of business operations, Crane Kenny, and said that Kenny said they checked the guy's social media, and determined that it was most likely intended it as a racist gesture. I can't find any evidence that he actually said it. I've seen an article that reports on that interview, where Kelly essentially said something like, they're erring on the side of inclusion and protecting all the fans. And that in their judgement, this was really poor judgement. He also said that it's up to the dude to prove to them that he didn't intend it to be racist.

So, I'm kinda doubting that they checked and found racist **** on the dude's social media. I don't know if the guy who tweeted it misheard, made it up, or if Kenny was lying in the interview. Seeing the video (they actually blurred the supposed racist symbol!) I'm not convinced one way or the other. It's possible he intended it to be racist. It's also possible he's just trolling SJWs. But I don't think they should err on the side of assuming he's a racist.
