The news report I heard on the radio this morning basically said the debate was all, "orange man bad", "America is only good for the rich", and "guns bad".

I really tried to watch the debate. I feel like it is important to make informed decisions. I heard Warren's first answer, Beto's first non-answer, and Gabbard's military resume. Booker's smooth, he's got a style that puts him in front, IMHO.

But I had to mute it. I just had to. It was like they all had the same polls about what "resonates" with Dem voters. Even with no sound, I could tell they were echoing each other. Screen time made it seem like NBC was favoring Warren.

Based on my incredibly small sample size of last night, I think the "winners" were Booker and Warren. I expect Harris to do well, and maybe someone else, to make it a 4 person race.

Booker/Harris when its all over and done.

    Then another term of Trump/Pence.

Maybe it was just me but that Castro guy came off as a dick. He just came off so sanctimonious to me. and speaking of dicks, DeBlasio did too I thought.

Even I have to say, "why bother? They're all pseudo-socialist Democrats." There's nothing there to decide on, and I ain't voting Democratic in the primary.

    haha

I was talking about the general. Besides, there probably isn't going to be a Republican primary in the next cycle, so might try the old Rush Limbaugh Operation Chaos thing or whatever it was called.

Why wouldn't you vote Democrat in the primary? The beauty of being able to choose your ballot is being able to vote for chaos.

I plan to pick the absolute worst candidate just to try and throw a monkey wrench into the works.

ETA: looks like T. Lex and Rush beat me to it.

Map before and after the Democrat debate.

She made a good show. No other Democrat even tried to do what she did on Afghanistan.

Unless that data was gathered over comparable periods of time - say the two hours before and the two hours after the debate - then I sense pretty graphics without meaning. If the first was, perhaps, the search history over a couple of weeks while the second was a couple of hours after the debate, the first could show broad and sustained interest in Warren while the second could show situational curiosity - as in "Who the **** is Tulsi Gabbard"

Yep. My search was for who the **** is Tulsi Gabbard.

She gets my vote in the primary. The rest of the losers can't surf.

Ok now it just feels like you're being contrary for the sake of being contrary.

"Gabbard stood out" is the sentiment I'm seeing from people all over the political spectrum.
