You are free to do so if you wish, but I cannot as I have always been against this action and will not change my position for political expediency and be a hypocrite. The republican and democrat parties are private associations and outsiders should not infiltrate so as to destroy the association.

If INGO decided to go from m virtual reality to reality and have a club with officers would it be right for Moms needing action to usurp our freedom of association by swamping membership to affect who the association is.

Call me a purest, but I just cannot damage another's freedom of association...

You are misguided, at best. There are larger matters at stake for our nation than freedom of association. And this is politics, not some random gun owner's club. Politics IS chaos.

So now if Joe is out what happens?

I think Bernie is not gonna get a clear win during Super Tuesday and Bloomberg will be a contender he will suck up the Biden crowd.
So that leaves a Bernie vs Bloomberg fight?

Daily wire reports that Bill Kristol, whom I liked 25 years ago before I understood what he really stands for, is involved in an effort to get independent and never Trump republicans to vote against Bernie.

I am totally against this. The dems have every right to select their candidate without interference from republicans and never Trumpers...

You are absolutely correct, on principle and I completely respect your right to abstain and do the right thing.

However, I am done with losing important battles over several decades simply due to "gentlemanly principles" against political opponents who have NONE and will do absolutely anything and everything to win no matter what.

Open primaries are mostly a Democratic Party invention... so I'm loving the irony.

So, while I agree with you in principle, and respect that, IMO, this is a "fight fire with fire" thing.

And it's not as if the Democrats didn't put a lot of effort over the last three years into curtailing our freedom of choice in 2020

Wait, I thought Trump was shoe in? I guess some people aren't as confident as I at first believed, and will go to such lengths as to actually rigging elections, to keep their guy in office. There's a tad bit of hypocrisy, if one can justify that, while decrying the actions of the Democrats.

It really ain't that deep. There are rules to the game, and anything within those rules can't really be called "rigging." Hypocrisy is not a consideration. This is politics, not seminary school.

Also, some of us are smart enough to know our infinitesimally small role in this circus. The loudest scream on the internet is still just 1 vote in a sea of millions.

    Also, it's "shoo-in."

Incorrect, "rigged," implies deception and dishonesty, and not all cases of such are illegal. And thank you for the colloquialism lesson. I did not know that.

AFAIK, cross-over primary voting, aka "raiding", is specifically called out and not within those rules in Indiana.

Likely the optics he is worried about is less about poor photo ops and more about 1-4x30

Since he continuously paints 2A supporters with that brush, it is entirely believable that he thinks that way. Let him think he isn't welcome anywhere gun rights are supported. It is largely true. Despite 2A supporters having the tools/skills to do it, I'd still paint the odds of Bloomberg being assassinated by political opponents far, far lower than Trump.
