Hiya Spicy I see the reloading is going well.

For the Howa 223, I was able to adjust the bullet seating depth to 0.020" from the lands and still fit the cartridge into the factory Howa mag. I won't have to single load anything in this rifle, which is okay with me.

The top round is a Norma 77gr factory round.

The factory round isn't as pointed as you load. That also changes the distance.

Morning all!
The weather radio kept alerting us last night. Thankfully it didn't wake the kids.
It didn't get bad here. I dont see anything missing nor anything added to our property.

Christmas again was the chosen full length feature this evening.
I do not recommend it to adults but the kids loved it.
I suffered through it just to spend time with them.

I made a few errors, but chalked that up to practice/training and moved forward. Learning little nuances is interesting.

I have always enjoyed reloading. I bought most of my basics when I was 16. The amount of variables seem to be unlimited. Every time one thing is change, the process begins again. One cartridge can have 15 or 20 suitable powders, bullets, primers and cases before you even get to seating depths. I have a model 742 in 06 that produced better with the bullet seated deeper than expected. Lots of variables may be an understatement, but it's still fun.

Anyone have experience with the Leopold Deltapoint pro? I'm thinking this might be a good optic for the SW22.
