    Morning folks! :coffee:

10mm is a lot of fun to shoot out of the right platform. CM seems to have the formula down pat for the 10mm 1911s. The biggest issue with 10mm pistols is the cost of ammo. It helps a whole lot if you reload. If not, they are not cheap to run, but the satisfaction of running a nice one outweighs the cost.

10mm CZ offerings are quite slim. You can find a couple of Dan Wesson 10mms offered, but that's about it. The 97B platform begs to be done in 10mm, and CZ did produce one. Just one though. I'm really hoping that once CZ gets their US factory online, they'll be able to build some pistols that would be of interest mainly in the US. Stuff like a compact .45 or maybe 10mm versions of others. I can fantasize about the stuff a US CZ factory would make for us all day long.

I would leap at the chance to have a 97 in 10mm

Pretty good weekend. Shot both days and made some progress with the Shadow 2, getting more used to it. Also tried some different ammo I've read about. Hornady Steel Match and Freedom Munitions Pro Match. Ran several mags with the usual Geco 124, Speer Lawman 147 and each of these and there was a clear difference. Hornady had tighter groups and Freedom even tighter. I'm sold, and ordered some more. I'll take all the help I can find!

Church, I'm curious about 10mm, have read some interesting accounts. Maan, sorry about the neighbor. Hopefully it's a one time thing.

I am pretty sure the neighbor is going to be a permanent dick which means no shooting on the premises as there isn't enough land to get 300 feet away from the house.

I'm going to be selling some guns. First I need to figure out the pic hosting debacle. I like to mention them here first in case someone "in the family" wants one.

First one is an 85 that has been converted to SAO. It has all the Cajun guns and whistles along with F/O sights and some nice grips.
https://www.indianagunowners.com/forums/handguns/25197-official-cz-photo-thread-163.html It is post #1623 in the photo thread.

The second one is a CZ 75 compact (often called an SP01 compact) that is stock except for a two tone bronze and black cerakote job. This gun has been passed around a few times but not shot very much. It will, like the rest, be priced to move.

The last one is a blued CZ 75 transitional pre-B. I believe it is stock but I really don't know.

If anyone has interest in any of these please feel free to drop me a line. I can get pictures and send them via text of email.

If and we we can get together you will have the opportunity to run a couple in 10mm. Not CZ's but a seriously sweet 2011 with 6" ported barrel and a 1911 Bobbed commander.

It would be worth the time to download the county ordinances to read exactly what they say. A prohibition on shooting within 100 yards of any dwelling might have a sub note allowing permission by the occupants.

Right on. Sometimes just knowing the rules puts you ahead. Hope so this time.

Alright, at this point I'm about ready to just go to the range and wait. This, as the kids say, sounds awesome!

I did find the ordinance and didn't see anything that gave me any hope.
