I'm right there with you. I know if it comfortable to shoot and if it's accurate and that's where it stops.I’ll be first to admit I know practically nothing about 1911s and would love to attend a class

...and my Brownells retro M16A1 that someone here still has I believe...
Scandium frame? Very light.I held a S&W 1911 today. It was very nice but beyond what I wanted to spend. So light weight and felt so good in the hand.
Yep and I keep telling myself no but I'm going back to the shop tomorrow.Scandium frame? Very light.
That's what happened to me, the Wizard showed me a case full of CZ's to shoot, I actually picked a very worn looking 75 or 85 but the trigger was phenomenal.I remember mcapo’s first GTG. We kept shoving CZ after CZ in his hands. I think he was a bit overwhelmed. He ended up later with one of the first ones I stuck in his hands. In fact it was one I got from CM when I met him for the first time. Hoosier45 was there also as I recall. Snowing like crazy.

So I know this is the wrong group to ask but what do all y'all think?

I had that exact gun. I think the SW1911s are really underrated - especially the E-series.So I know this is the wrong group to ask but what do all y'all think?

I was amazed by the weight. The scandium frame is light
Perhaps but I still like it.For an opposing view...fish scales belong on fishes...not 1911 shaped objects.
Perhaps but I still like it.
