Sam, great post. I also agree that what happens to it after it leaves my hands is no longer my business. Again, I'm not trying to make a killing, just looking for a fair market value trade. If my brother or one of my good friends needed this ammo, I'd probably give it to them for nothing or next to it as that's what I have in it.
The flip side of selling if for $35 is this. Let's assume I buy this ammo at $35 today and the market finally stabilizes and supply outpaces demand 3 months from now. Let's also assume that Walmart now stocks the same ammo for $25 a box (we can all dream, can't we). Then I come across hard times and need money so I have to sell that ammo to pay the bills, put food on the table, etc. Is anyone here willing to pay more than Walmart's price of $25 to help offset my loss on this? I seriously doubt many of you here would.
