On a good day I would get 8mpg with my Tahoe before it was rolled. Now it gets 0mpg.

That's usually where I'm at while towing the camper.

My Jetta, even with a trailer hitched up to tow my mother-in-law and a feed trough to keep her happy, would get better than 8mpg going up the steep slope of Pikes Peak

Yikes, my Freightshaker when I worked for C.R. England got 8mpg or better going through the mountains with a trailer fully loaded with 40 tons of beer

I got like 12 bobtailing sometimes.

Yeah let's not turn this into a VS. debate. Had a Glock. It worked, but I didn't like how it felt and shot. Tried a 1911, liked it, wanted one, got a Ruger. It's great, but kinda too big when I don't want to OC, got the Kimber.

My first carry gun was an H&K USP Compact which I traded for a full. Similar controls to 1911 except the USP can be also be carried first shot DA.
