Nothing but coal for you next Christmas from the former office crowd!

    .
    That is fine.
Frankly jedi does NOT want any of them to return ever.

At the same time jedi is tired of hearing about their complaints. They have NOT been physically here for 2 years. How "hard" can it be to get up 5 minutes before your start time and log into the system. Whereas a handful of us have continued on with daily life.

    /end rant.

My neighbor is bored. He's snowblowing my driveway.
Our neighbor has for the past few years, and he abruptly stopped this year. It's not like I can go up to his door and say "What the hell, dude?" It was nice while it lasted. I used to pay him in home made banana bread, cookies, and cobblers.

Hired someone this year to come and snowblow/shovel whenever necessary.

My retired neighbor still does mine on his John Deere. World's greatest neighbor! Hopefully I don't mess that up. Definitely not going to pay him with snaps cookies, now that we all heard how that one ended....

..... formerly near the Wild Turkey
    This is the way

I'm two years removed from the Wild Turkey - by necessity. But back in the day ....

Our neighborhood snow parties were legendary (at least to us). By the time all the driveways in the neighborhood were clear, none of us could wield our shovels anymore.

    I don't miss the hangovers.

My son was out at 6am plowing our 100 yard driveway, followed by 500+ yards of our private road. 17hp of a 25 year old John Deere with a plow + a 16 year old = easy life for me.

But here I sit at my office in Hammond...lonely.
