OK, so the electric just went out 3 times, so we're done - shutting it down. I have battery-backups on all the computers and little stuff, but all the copy machines are 220 volt, and backups for those are $5k each, so I havn't done it. Really plays havoc with their operating systems when they flicker off and on several times.

There it went off the 4th time.

    .
Probably a reason Lake Central hasn't announced eLearning tomorrow. Lots if folks complaining about outages.

    okay. that was not fun.

Snow blower gear selector repair failed right off the bat.
Looks like option 3 now. make a new rod and replace the entire thing.

So, I repaired it temporarily with duct tape. Dad and I both worked on 2 retirees drives.
Then, I did the driveway on a neighbor that got my driveway last time.
Finally got to mine, and the duct tape failed. Of course. And the roll won't unroll. Ugh.

Also, the cable for the auger was loose. So I had to pull the cable to get the auger to work.
So, the whole time I was hunched over.

    It was actually WORK.
Normally I enjoy using the blower.

I have some repairs to do later.
