Good morning all. It's cold but nice and sunny out there. Got out and cleaned up the snow around the house that I missed yesterday at 4am. Trying to decide if I want to venture out to Valpo for the gun show this morning. Wife wants me to put up a new ceiling fan so maybe I'll do that instead.
Nephew's birthday party today.Both could fit in your day.
Gun show today, ceiling fan tomorrow.
Yeah, it's important to take breaks when you are retired!
Iv edoen the same thing with snow removal. Paid $40 to have my drive plowed earlier this month when we had ~ a foot of white stuff. But was not really pleased with the result. He left about a quarter to half inch of snow on it, now hard packed... This time, I cleared it myself and was down to the concrete in most of it. But no way could I have cleared 12"....
Doors are open at the Valpo Show.
Went to the Union hall to work on paperwork (which it turns out I didn't have)
And I spent a couple hours working on the snowblower, which didn't work.
So I went to Menards to purchase some threaded rod, so I can just make a new part, instead of making the other part work.
And that was enough work, to make me think I needed the break.

Just got back. Very busy there. Some decent prices out there but the inflated prices, especially with private vendors, were all over too.
Picked up a bunch of Zicks and this little fellow followed me home

Pretty sure the one who handles retirement at 1066 is the same one who handles insurance and stuff. And Larry's age doesn't matter because she's a renowned ho. The grievance chairman is her EX husband because she was banging the former president of the local.
I was there for about an hour, left at 11:30. They had a good crowd with a short line out the door when I arrived. Just went there mostly to browse. Saw a few good deals and lots of overpriced stuff.
