    I think it would be interesting if some sharp reporters got some UAW auto workers pinned down to comment on the port strike.

    10 weeks ahead of Xmas, in a wallet sucking economy already, not knowing where fuel and heating costs will be without a port strike, let alone with?

    Be interesting to see the time it takes between the port strike and auto manufacturers laying off? Do we have an over/under guess on that?

    Black Friday and most holiday goods are already in DCs across the nation.

    With the election coming up, spot rates already at peak season prices, and the Houthi's BS, folks were pulling as many containers in as early as they could.

    The strike will largely affect the auto industry, fruit, and coffee.
