They probably do. Except for the icing, cookies like that have zero taste. The cookie part tastes like bland cardboard. I like the kind that I posted so much better. You can taste the butter. You can taste the sugar. They have a bit of crunch on the outside and are soft and chewy on the inside.

jedi needs to rethink those window decorations. All night they kept banging away keeping jedi up.

Weekend project is to move them to the wall ledge but jedi is going to need more wire/string and another extension cord for that.

Good morning. Unlike last weekend, this wind storm was hitting at the other end of the house overnight so it didn't interrupt my sleep as much. I noticed a smell of smoke, like burning grass, in the air this morning both in Munster and here in Valpo. I wonder if it is from some distant fires and being carried by these crazy winds.

I agree. They are nice to look at it but I usually avoid eating them due to the lack of flavor. Sugar cookies should be soft, a little chewy and sweet.

The little 18" lighted snowmen that were standing on our front porch were scattered like bowling pins this morning. It looks like a snowman massacre.
