OK, my cookies are not as.. um.. fancy, but if anyone wants an excellent sugar cookie recipe, this one is the bomb. These are chewy and buttery and sugar-coated, not really the kind for decorating. You can turn them into snickerdoodles by adding cinnamon to the sugar that you roll them in.

Yup. Been hearing about them dumping packages at abandoned houses so they don't have to deliver. I don't actually have a problem with USPS unless it's that hybrid "smart post" ********. Then there always seems to be a delay or a snafu.

Specifically the Munster delivery station. Whenever it hits "out for delivery" in Munster, I automatically assume it will be a day or two late because they wanna be lazy and not drive out here. I don't think I've ever had a late or damaged arrival from the one in Michigan City.

Got my kids after 68 days each day of my weekend. Its going to be an adjustment but we'll get through it. Took them 20min the first day to remember me but otherwise was a great time.

Of course, I will probably find it in June.

So, anyone wants to do the Christmas card swap thing, we can exchange a PM.
And then I'll get one out.

Just went to American Sale this morning.
And usually, by this time they have things on sale.
Apparently this year is different.
I'm hoping to get a few items, but they are a bit "pricey" right now.
And one of the items is of course, no longer on the shelf. Though I'm hoping I can get it online.. when it goes on sale.

It's NOT going to be "on sale" this year.
You better get it when it's in stock.
Inventory is low to none and don't expect the manufacturer to be making more any time soon. Even if they do make more, logistical issues are causing delays everywhere.

In other news jedi inflatable snowman is once again down for thr count. This wind is killing the decorations. The window lights have also taken a hit. Ugh..
