If gauchos was still around I'd say go for your birthday meal
I'm fixing filet and crablegs. Haven't decided on dessert yet. Instead of birthday cake, I may opt for a carton of milk and a box of Captain Crunch. (I'm diabetic and don't eat cereal, but God, do I miss it.)

Happy Birthday Snapdragon. I enjoy crab legs but a lot of work for a little bit of meat. Last year the wife and I went to the Ameristar Casino for their seafood buffet for all-you can eat crab legs and the lady behind me eat at least 12 buckets of crab legs. $77.00 for the two of us and wonder if the buffets will ever open again?

    Thanks. :)

We bought three pounds at Strack's. I'm going to cook them and shell them ahead of time, and then just warm up the meat in some lemon butter when I grill the steaks.

We picked up the limit, 10lbs at stracks 2 weeks ago when they were $6.99/lb
Yeah, that's when I got them. I like snow crab best. King crab is a PITA to crack.

We picked up about three beef tenderloins when Meijer had them for $5.99 (or maybe $6.99?) a pound a few months ago. I cut them to 1 1/2", bagged them, and froze them.

Sorry T Star I couldn't figure out the real. Happy belated birthday.

    Happy Birthday Snap.

Do you have a slit in your mask to slide the food in? Please realize this is only a joke. I really want you and your mom to stay healthy.

No masks necessary at home, Tom. We are not eating out as of yet for the aforementioned reason.

    Thanks for the birthday wishes.

The only reason I didn't use T_Star's screen name is I wasn't sure of it, and when I tried to look it up, I looked up T-Star and TStar and came up blank. Didn't think about the underscore until she posted.
