Btw lowes is NO amazon!
Jedi ordered 5 items from lowes and did the ship to home method as they are not urgent. Jedi has gotten 4 different emails from lowes with 4 different tracking numbers for the 5 items. 2 from fedex, 1 ups, 1 usps.
Wth! Items are set to arrive monday, tuesday, and wed!

I get that all the time when I order from Academy Sports. Last order was 5 boxes 9mm, 5 boxes 556, and 5 boxes 45acp. (5 box limit) All came Fed Ex but in 4 separate shipments. Free shipping so guess really cant complain

Some of them ship from different warehouses. During the last ammo panic, I ordered 1 caliber and shipments came from different state's warehouses to complete the total. Some do it by supply on brick & mortar shelves to make the total. I saw Cabela's do it from the same warehouse in NE, but they were getting your total pallet by pallet as they were arriving.

Some places actually ship from whichever retail store has an item in stock. Macy's does this.

Today jedi almost died!
Jedi went south of us30 and into porter county.
All that fresh horse farm air is too pure for jedi's lungs!
So glad jedi is back north of us30 in the land of pollution.
Jedi can breath once again!

I just had a Cabela's order that came in 6 packages, from six different originating points. The shipping was free and pretty quick.

Best Buy's system for store pickup works really well. They have numbered spaces to park in and you let them know you are there and they bring your items out. I picked up a couple of Rokus the other day and a friend got a microwave. They put the microwave in his trunk.
