Two natural gas installed Generac Whole house units at a commercial facility in south Chicago. Thieves cut connections and took the originals.

In Dyer they stole 4 large AC compressors and I had to build cages around the replacements.

I have seen aluminum siding stripped off homes and all the copper pipes ripped out of houses in Gary and Merrillville.

I dislike people. I HATE thieves.

You better hope that a cop pulls me over if you are trying to push me and there is a way to go around me.

ETA I may quickly slow don 15-20 MPH to get to the right and out of your way. I would hate for you to be late for work just because you left late.

I'm never one to 'push' or any other sort of tailgating.

But people need to move over for faster traffic.
It's the law.
Period.

Slamming on the brakes is also breaking the law too.

I never understood why it is so normal for people in Europe to move to the right to yield right of way but here in the US we have people clogging lanes. I much prefer driving in Europe.

I went with the Kohler unit. 16K whole house generator, for someone who asked. It was very comforting to hear it running as I pulled out of the driveway. As to a cage around it, it's not really needed in my area. Half the neighborhood has them, with no cages, and no issues for many years. Not to say that it couldn't happen, but there are a few of my neighbors that would get hit before me, as their's would be much easier to get to.

Down south where my folks live, stealing A/C units and stripping wires out of buildings is a real big problem. My uncle's empty house was stripped bare; walls, attic, A/C, everything. Four churches lost their A/C units in one week. Crazy stuff.
