The Hobart Police Department will be on Fox 32 Chicago tonight with Dane Placko at 5pm & 9pm. The story will feature our school bus stop arm enforcement with an Interview with Lt. Well, you'll be needing a security detail now. I already have the dark glasses, but you'll need to provide the dark trenchcoat ... oh, and I'll need to borrow an AR pistol to keep under the trenchcoat ... oh, and I'll need to be trained on the AR pistol ... but other than that, I'm good to go.

Well, It should be 100° for the next month now. Just finished draining the pool. These overnight temps havent allowed the water temp to get past 75° during the day for last few weeks, so instead of paying Nipsco and adding chemicals to maintain, I decided to pack it up for the year.

"The Chesterton Police Department and other law enforcement agencies were searching this morning for a male subject considered to be armed and dangerous, following what is believed to have been a domestic incident on Ind. 49 during which shots were fired. Police Chief Dave Cincoski told the Chesterton Tribunethat, in the early morning hours today, a man traveling northbound on Ind. 49, north of Indian Boundary Road, fired shots at a second moving vehicle, in “a domestic-related incident.” No one was injured, Cincoski said. The suspect fled the scene but subsequently crashed his vehicle near the entrance of Indiana Dunes State Park, then fled on foot. The suspect was last seen east of Ind. 49, along U.S. Highway 12, and is thought to have gone to ground in the woods. “The suspect is considered armed and dangerous,” Cincoski said. The CPD did release a photo of the suspect but Cincoski declined to identify him. He was described as a black male, 5’ 7’’ in height and 165 pounds in weight, last seen wearing tan shorts or pants and a black tee-shirt. No further information was available at deadline today."
