I have stuff but have not gotten it down yet.

Been in the hospital in Bloomington after the Indy 500. Home now but go to Community tomorrow for outpatient procedure. 3 giant kidney stones at one time ... odds of that are like hitting the lottery.

Hope to get to the anti-ant project this weekend.

I really hate ants. When I was in Texas it was a constant battle with harvester ants, fire ants and pharaoh ants.

i dont mind ants outside as that IS their place.
you want to eat outside you are in their home.
inside a human building, f... them!!!
especially when i find them on my laptop on the 2nd floor when their is no food or water!

Ants bad here too. And of course the oak roaches too, those things creep me out, but I've got 3 huge oaks right over the house.... So I'll have to deal with them forever

I had the little black ants. I bought the liquid terro. The hard part is not killing them. You have to let them swarm it, and take it back to the nest. 2 days of that, and no more ants.


I went to JP today. They dumped a whole bunch of sand in the 25-yard lane. Now it's pistol only, 10, 15, and a 25-yard lane. ( I think those are the yardages)

The A2 handguards that I bought at the Crown Point gun show for my dissipator build cracked at the Delta ring today. I think I'll just get the magpuls.

I don't know what to do about killing them inside the nest, but spraying vinegar on all of the ones you can find helps. We get swarms of those winged ants near the south door of the house a couple of times a year. Don't know where they come from, but all of a sudden there are thousands of them just in that one 4-5 foot area. I put vinegar in a spray bottle and douse them, and they are gone the next day.

That was the perfect rain for soaking in that product. By the sounds of all the birds chirping in the yard yesterday, I can only speculate that they were having quite the picnic as all the ants and such were fleeing. We shall see.

It really is. I learned the hard way when I was fighting the Pharaoh ants. If you spray them it only makes the problem worse. Let them eat the bait and they will be gone.

Oh none of the gauges work except for voltage and fuel.

I just use my phone and a OBD dongle to read speed, temp, RPM, etc.

Until I can get a good gauge setup

Howdy guys and gals,
I was browsing the last few pages and I discovered that some of you are having trouble with ants. I live on a small farm and we have our share around here. My grandpa used to pour diesel fuel along the house (near the concrete base). The ants were not a problem after that, the house did stink for a few days though. He passed away 15 or so years ago, it hasn't been done since
