So the American Dream can't survive unless:

    1. The Democrat lawmakers walk out of their jobs and ignore majority rule.

    2. Protesters fill up the statehouse with posters.

    3. You pay monthly dues to ensure you get paid. Or another way to state that, the American Dream can't survive unless I pay someone to make sure I get paid...

For those of you planning on attending, sorry I will not be there. I will be at Camp Atterbury on Saturday training future Army officers on marksmanship. Yep, just working my job that took budget cuts this year, no reenlistment bonuses, no uniform replacement, broken equipment, 60 year old facilities, not getting travel pay, not getting reimbursed for food expenses and not promoting soldiers to save money.

BUT I still do my job, I still show up on time, I still wear the uniform because that is my job, my life and I love it.

If you are public teacher and you don't like you pay, you don't like your pension, you don't like your schedule, you don't like your brat students? Guess what? If you loved your job you wouldn't worry about that. You would still do you job and serve those children. Did you not know what the benefits were before you started your career? Suck it up like everyone else has had to do.

If you don't like your public service job, find a new career. But if you still want to be a teacher then suck it up like the rest of us public servants have had to.

    Good day.

Well, can this be an OC event or is that asking for trouble?

Oh, I'm sure on the absolute scale of Good Idea-ness, it is in the "asking for trouble" range!

Somehow, one of us would get injured or killed but it would be our fault for "provoking" those poor, gentle, red-faced thugs that are descending on our fair capital.

Well, now that we are talking about OC event. We would OC on the reason to show off our high quality firearms built by the hands of non unionized professionals.

HAHA That's one way to think outside the box.

Most of my firearms, being built by colt, were built by union workers :n00b:

I believe Marlin, Remington, quite a few manufacturers are unionized.

The purpose of an open carry event would be?

I am just curious what this has to do with the 2nd ammendment... or gun ownership...

Agree, this has nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment.

The purpose would be to be to irritate all the socialists, communists and so-called liberals, who are also likely anti-gun, that are descending on our capitol.

I am still not a big fan of Moveon.org...

Actually, people having guns might almost be considered anit-moveon, I am not sure what their actual stance on gun ownership is.

More and more democrats are pro-guns now contrary to popular belief, but moveon is a pretty radical left-wing organization.
