Maybe you should have specified the trial, and not the shooting of a patriot.

Armed, hostile takeover of a govt facility does not make one a "patriot". If that were true, you'd have to recognize the Native Americans who occupied Alcatraz in 1969.

Oh, wait. Those folks weren't armed. While a young girl did die, that was an accident.

Finicum said he'd "never be taken alive". He reached for a firearm (at the very minimum, LEOs had reason to suspect he had a firearm, having previously displayed it) while ignoring LEO orders. Finicum committed "suicide by cop", as he likely knew he and the other Y'all Queda would spend a long time in Federal prison.

Perhaps when these clowns go down, the rest of the SovCits will understand that no one buys their BS, and life will be safer for a lot of LEOs who have to deal with them.

I'm going to keep an eye on how this adverse possession against the federal government goes. That's a new and novel concept that has never been addressed in statutory or common law.

See, that's the weakness of your legal education. Your school did not supplement your studies with healthy doses of Alex Jones, nutball Ron Paul newsletters, and copious amounts of marijuana, er, Freedom Plant.

You're dilusional, how many Leo's have patriot groups killed this year? Then how many Leo's have died at the hands of two of your favored groups, Islamists, and Black power groups?

Patriot groups aren't waging a war on cops, that would be progressives like Soros, Clinton and Obama.
So does that mean Jerry Kane JR and his son Joseph were financed by Soros in West Memphis Arkansas in 2010?

6 years? Why not play the McVeigh card?

Dallas, Baton Rouge, Pheonix, any of those ring a bell?

Just saying Kane was a Sovereign Citizen which SC's are as much a threat to the US as any Islamic terrorists but to hear some talk of them as patriots not sure they know the real stance of SC's. They have been isolated incidents with LE but with some increasing frequency but SC's sort of faded away from the public's eye until the Wildlife refuge incident.

Where as the whole BLM was more active more recently.

And as far as ringing a bell, yes and a lot more!

Just one more thing about that case, those two did not seek out police officers to murder, that case was initiated by a traffic stop.

The recent violence has been premeditated ambushes, of totally unsuspecting officers. Much more frightening.

While it on any offensive activity if you look at Kabe's history he had one of preaching resistance (like most SC's do) towards any LE.

When did I ever say that? Thread and post #, please.

As for SovCits, I suspect they consider themselves to be "patriots". Oh, and LEOs aren't very fond of them.

"This year"? Hard to form trends using a single year's data, especially with 4 months still to go. But you might want to take a look at this *obviously* slanted take on SovCits.

From the Washington Post (using FBI data): "From 1980 to 2013, there were 2,269 officers killed in felonious incidents, and 2,896 offenders. The racial breakdown of offenders over the 33-year period was on par with the 10-year period: 52 percent were white, and 41 percent were black." Well, not looking good for your thesis, is it?

And you really won't like this....

    /"Delusional"...

"As the officers questioned Jerry Kane, his son Joe suddenly leaped out of the minivan and opened fire on the officers with an AK-47 assault rifle."

Yeah, it was the traffic stop that FORCED the kid to go all Rambo on the cops....:ar15:

Okay, just maybe they didn't "seek out" police officers to murder, but they had no problem murdering LEOs that got in their way...

I work for DOJ and deal with them frequently. LE doesn't slander SC's at all. They are warped and dangerous to every law abiding American and to call or refer them to patriots is wrong g. (And they don't think of themself as patriots by the way)
