:xmad: Yesterday was my birthday snd I didnt even get a card or a happy birthday from anyone on my family. I didnt say anything thinking my wife was going to throw a party like she does every year. When I got home from the shop I thought my friends and family would be there... nope nobody. I know im not a kid anymore and havent been for a long time but I was like WTF. This morning when I got up my wife looked at me and said "Im sorry I forgot your birthday was yesterday because all I have been able to think about is my lil brothers wedding and this bachelorette party this Saturday." I told her oh well dont worry about it. She said "Well I will get you something next week because all my extra money has to go to Indy with me for the bachelorette party this weekend." Again WTF I guess this bachelorette party is more important. What would you do if in my situation? Im not as much mad as I am hurt about it all. Not even a happy birthday was said. Venting over.

I would assume she is looking forward to getting to know some hot guys at the bachelorette party. Obviously you are on your way out :D

Welcome to adulthood. The guy is expected to give and give but never gets anything in return.

I'm sorry. I completely understand. My husband forgot our anniversary (October 2009), my birthday (November 2009), and the following Mother's Day (May 2010) once.

So from one "rejected" person to another, I hope you had a happy birthday with many more to come.

That's bull**** and a complete cop-out for excusing equally poor behavior.

All that's missing in your story is pre-pubescent boys paying a dollar to see your panties at the dance and a foreign exchange student named Long Duck Dong.

    Happy Birthday anyway.

So... coming up on your second wedding anniversary, then?
    5th.

As far as the welcome to adulthood/manhood post from the above poster I will say this. I was a man from the day I earned my EGA and more so from the first day I set foot in Afghanistan and already a man when I was sent to Iraq. Welcome to manhood... I think not son I have been a man for a long while now! It doesnt matter ones age we all have feelings. I dont care who you are when something like that happens it hurts your feelings a little bit. Specially when you bought her a new 2011 Ford SUV for her birthday!
As far as me being on my way out ,nope never in a million years if it were up to her and no she doesnt have me snowed I assure you that!
On a more positive note my little brother will be home on leave tonight and we're going out. 2 weeks and its back to Asscrackistan and killin taliban:ar15:. Boss said I can come in late tomorrow and that all I had to do was put the new incoming stuff in the boundbook and put it into the computer with prices for the POS and im gone! So rangetrip tomorrow and Sunday!:D

A dog won't remember your birthday, but will treat you like every day is.
I have actually been thinking of another English Bully ours died last year in Feb and we had him cremated and now he lives on the mantle next to where my shadowbox with my medals and pictures are. I think it is about time for a new one thanks for the suggestion.
