I came back and looked at this on a bigger screen. That Maxim looks like it came out of a museum.
After two world wars on European soil you would be surprised to see what some folks keep in their attic (or basement, or both!).
A lot of museum-grade quality, often fully functioning (therefore illegal), military weapons are kept in private homes.

Some people have been collecting weapons for years, when they die the family has to figure out what to do.
Either keep them all hidden or call the cops and lose everything.

Each year the police find hundreds of guns that way.
Just two years ago they found over 18,000 lbs of guns, and over 3,000 lbs of ammo (hand grenades, machine guns, mortars, rifles etc) ... all in one house in France.

By law we are limited to 12 firearms ... recently they found a guy who had over 500 guns, mainly hunting stuff.

I assume he lost count and went 488 guns over the limit ... :dunno:

A lot of different weapons in that pic. Far right mounted weapon, what is that? Far left standing: belt fed? Far right standing: looks like aircrew/has morale patches. In the middle mugging for the camera: is that a SCAR and is his scope on backwards?

Looks like CZ 806 BREN-2 rifles (from #CzechRepublic ), FN FNC rifles (from #Belgium ), Kbk wz. 88 Tantal rifle (from #Poland ), early PK machine gun, AK-74 etc... can be seen.
