Yeah, we get all excited about getting water in it we for get the little details. At this point, unless it's in the middle of the room, I wouldn't chance trying to move it, you might bust the tank, and if you got the tiniest bit of paint in your water it would probably kill all your bacteria. I would just get some solid color vinyl and use double sided tape to put it on the back.

when nitrites drops, I'm going to do a 90% water change...I'll pull it from the wall and paint it then. Black is the color, just need to mask it of really good.

It's pretty easy, when I did my 90 I masked all the trim good and made double sure ALL the glass was covered. The good thing is it doesn't matter what your paint job looks like as long as it doesn't have runs all over it, it will be smooth looking from the outside!

I got bored, so I added some sand to the 10 gal to make the shark's little home a little more homely...

Edit: Here's a better picture of him, however the sand is washed out...

That really sets it off Caleb, makes the shark look cool against that white sand to!

Does krylon scratch off easy? Durable enough for a HOB to not scratch the paint off??
I'm not sure about that, I don't have anything hanging off the back of my tank. If it were I, I'd tape a piece of foam on the little bumper rail that sits against the glass, should take care of any problems.

With that said...the filter power head decided to stop working right, so no filtration at the moment. Talk about bad timing....
