55 up front and a 56 in back of it. All three years amount to what the chevy faithful call the "Tri-5's"They aren't fins in the manner of what fins are thought of. The taillights extend past the trunk line, but they quarter panel doesn't rise up to give a fin. They are rounded over.

Yes sir. '55 being my favorite of the three. I just don't like the front of the '56.55 up front and a 56 in back of it. All three years amount to what the chevy faithful call the "Tri-5's"
I like the 55 nose on a gasser. Straight axle nose up bad MoFo.Yes sir. '55 being my favorite of the three. I just don't like the front of the '56.
That molding is from a '55. Haven't seen that on a '57 before. Most people want the big ribbed panel.I like the 55 nose on a gasser. Straight axle nose up bad MoFo.
I really like the 56 but my heart is with the 57. Like the one up thread that belongs to my buddy. The stance is enhanced by the side molding and the fins.
The original Car Craft 57 in the Hollywood nights is my grail car.
Not the molding I am referring to. It's 57b all the way. Unless we are referring to the same thing. That molding is from a '55. Haven't seen that on a '57 before. Most people want the big ribbed panel.
Here's the '57 molding (chrome trim)Not the molding I am referring to. It's 57b all the way. Unless we are referring to the same thing.
OK....Edit. I see what you mean. Thats not the trim piece I mean.
Looks like it is57.
