      I’ve all but settled on the Shield 2.0. I really did like the pinky pinching PPS M2 though. The Shield felt just a little better, and will cost a few dollars less too.

      I tend to agree. I'd probably pay $30 + tax more for local. I'm looking for a Shield 2.0 9mm. I see $319-$340 on the internet, and around $420 locally. I found one in Mishawaka for 369... but it was the Cerakote finish, and I didn't love it.

      Nice. It looks like we share our alma mater as well. Chirp chirp. In high school we always played north and south Decatur. The most bland gyms in the conference if I remember right... other than the sweet paw prints on the ground at south Decatur.

      Damn. I even spelled Bartholomew wrong. The banjo moniker now seems appropriate. I think I'm a revolver guy - if I have to pick one. 1911's are cool. I've never seen a Glock that I really loved. BUT, I'm not a true gun nut, and only shoot maybe 5 times per year... because my neighbors live...

      Thank you. Bass Pro (and likely Cabelas) is a non starter for me. Every time, I’ve left disappointed after looking at the gun case. Im interested in checking out Westforth. How about the one in Schererville... south county I think it was?

      I knew the Shield 2.0 would have a ton of aftermarket support, but it looks like the XDS has a lot of support too. A cursory search tells me that holster options/pricing, and magazine pricing/availability are close enough to not worry about it. I bet the price for the XDS will keep dropping...
