I had a Surefire 6px pro on my SBR but it liked to change between settings every time you pulled the trigger. So, the pro became my handheld and I got the 6px defender. Problem solved. Works great on my .308 SBR.
If it's a compensator, I'm guessing the "washers" are shims and the comp is supposed to be timed/indexed. At least that's how it works with my YHM qd brakes.
Edit: I just Googled a pic of the brake and it'll definitely need timed.
They expect to be paying out a settlement amount of $26,000,000 in the near future.
The users manual now says "approximately 0.5 MOA per click" where before it said "0.5 MOA per click."
As I've said on here many times before, not a fan of EOTech. This comes as no surprise.
Currently there are no true 1 power optics that are also variable. Even the all mighty S&B doesn't produce a true 1x variable. They all have some degree of magnification, even if it's a negligible amount like 1.006x.
I would highly recommend the Vortex Viper PST 1-4x. Get the one with capped...
A 10" AR-15? I think they are rather tame. I shoot my 12.5" .308 SBR regularly without a suppressor or blast shield and it has a brake on it. It's actually pretty fun and friends/family request to shoot it when we have our get togethers.
Yes, if you get an AAC or YHM, there is an SSS Brake Shield which directs all of the blast forward. I have a 12.5" .308 SBR and I use a brake to save the suppressor's blast baffle. Here is the blast shield on my YHM qd brake.
I use the YHM qd suppressor brake on my 12.5" and 18" rifles in .308. I also have the Saker and would highly recommend it.
If you end up going with a Recce, do plenty of research apart from MAC or Copper Custom. Tim was/is still pushing Huntertown Arms like they're a reputable company. He...
If you're just using it for plinking, stockpiling, or SHTF, you won't notice a difference. If you are looking to reload, certain XM855 uses LC brass whIle others use Federal. Both will reload the same but for match grade accuracy, stick with the same brass.
I'll break away and say a Honda CR-V. The new ones get 36 mpg with full time AWD. If anything happens to it, parts are cheap. If S already HTF, you can prob find parts from another Honda within walking distance. The CR-V also got 2015 SUV of the year. Not compact or midsized but overall SUV of...
I've only ever reloaded 500 rounds of lead before switching back to plated. Even at max, I didn't have any issues like that. I'm guessing somebody used jacketed data for lead bullets, blamed their ruselts on the powder, and is now running around the internet telling everybody how much Titegroup...
That took way too long.
I almost want to buy an upper now just to make a d-ring dremel cut-off video. I'm sure youtube has already beat me to it though.
I use it with 147gr 9mm plated projectiles and I love it. Very consistent, meters great through my Dillon, and it doesn't dirty up my suppressed Sig or CZ all that bad.
Alternatives to consider would be HP38 or CFE Pistol.
