Any farm store should carry them. I got mine from Rural King. Make sure that you also pick up the "setting device". I've got the No2 trap and once set, place the trap right over the hole
I wanted a lever in .45-70 or .44 mag and looked at prices and they were selling for way more than I wanted pay. I did buy one and ended up with a nice Rossi R92 in .44 mag for $400 (used and private sale) and it is a good shooter. The action is fairly smooth and shoots well.
I just picked up...

I've mentioned this a time or two. In instances where they are very timid and I don't have much of a chance at good shots I prefer conibear traps set over the entrance of the hole as it is instant death and no chance of the groundhog tearing up your live traps. I've had raccoon and groundhogs...

Conibear traps work well for making them DRT but there is a need of caution if kids can get close to the traps as they will break an arm easily
130 yard shot with crosswind blowing at 15-20 mph. I've been trying to shoot this one for week but he was very skittish. Could get a really clear shot through the dead wood and had to wait until he was between branches.

Congratulations on the retirement! I'm 820 days away from retirement and I will be 70 then. I am also holding off due to health insurance reasons and waiting until the wife hits 66 yrs 10 months for her retirement (she's 3 years younger than me).
