these are the lowas I wear, desert zephyrs with gore-tex. they have a really soft and gummy sole that I thought wouldn't last but they are good as the day I bought them a few years ago. they are also 100% silent so sneaking up on people is a piece of cake.

Tyler, how hot are these bad boys during the summer? Any complaints, or did you just adapt to putting up with the heat due to the GTX membrane? Thanks!

my feet sweat no matter what I'm wearing so I can't give you real answer other than they don't feel any hotter than any other shoes or boots I wear. they also make them in a non gore-tex version as well.

I have very wide feet, so finding boots and shoes to fit is a chore. Lately I've been wearing Propet Camp Walker boots.

I wear tennies & dress shoes most of the time, but if I'm working in the woods its back to the old Whites.
