Localone...perhaps your posts and thoughts would come across more clearly if you would spell correcly and use the right words. I'm not a good speller either, so am far from perfect.

It is giving me a headache reading your posts with the continued use the letter "u" in place of the word "you" and the letters "ur" in place of the word "your." Also, there are some missing words and punctuation that would really help emphasize what you are trying to say.

"Their" is the correct word to show plural possessive of "they." There is used to reference a location, and is commonly used with the word "Where." "They're" is the contraction of "they" and "are" that many of us use as part of our local slang. There are many other corrections I can make to your posts, but that's not my intention.

Again, I make a lot of spelling and word use mistakes myself, so please accept my corrections as a good intentions to help you out. :ingo:
As you can tell I am not a teacher:): and spending time on facebook you tend to dumb down the typing to make it easier for people to read:rockwoot:plus going to a chicago public school when typing was required. We had to use pencil

U would never talk to ur parents again and give them a verbal lashing because there standing up there jobs which put clothes on there kids and food on there table? im getting full so you can stop feeding me B.S. If i ever ran my mouth to my Father he would have knocked my teeth out.

If my parents would not even give ground on the viagra issue like the union thugs in Ws., yea I would tell them goodbye after a good trashing!

It is a new day and your father would get prison time.

It is also a "new day" for voters that do not want to pay for the viagra for public employees.

It is obvious the BS is flowing from those that can't admit there are problems.

if it were not for unions most of us would not know
    8 hour work days
    overtime
    vacation
    any kind of retirement
the right to work in a safe envirement
    and on and on
as far as the point that they have outlived their usefullness, if we keep putting
polititions in who attack the working class in this country. We may very well see
much larger and more powerfull unions develop. As we dump more of the middle
class into the poor we create civil unrest. Look around the world and see what
    that turns into

some union ideas might have helped us get there but they arent the only reason. I can give you a list of bad things unions have given us too. but i wont. I am always going to be for the working man! always. i will never be for the lazy man who rides on the back of the working man though and still earns the same wage and keeps his job. are their good working men and women in unions? you betcha! I am proud to know some.

when you take a job. ANY job. you agree to the terms the employer is offering including the wages. giving them any less than that is dishonorable and thievery in my opinion. take pride in your work because its a reflection of your integrity and who you are as a man. Its not about what you can get away with. because if i worked like that even if no one else saw it, I would still always know I didnt give what I could or should have, and I dont want that on my conscience. When I give my all then I am proud of myself and the work I have to show for it.

I think that if they won't, they need to be fired and we, the taxpaying public need to hire someone who will. If I'm paying too little - then that price might have to go up, now won't it? Same is true for teachers or anyone else. Even (gasp) programmers like me. If Babjit in East DogCrapistan will do it for cheaper, guess what? I'm out of a freaking job! If quality people will do it for less... no matter the job - then that's the way it rolls.

    It's a FREE MARKET.

What I'm saying is this - GUBBAMINT union jobs and wages have been growing like crazy, as people that pander to them (the Chicago machine?) have been paying off political debts. The private sector has been losing jobs - or not growing at a minimum, even as more people enter the workforce.

I have NO problem paying a fair wage to Police, Firefighters, teachers etc. I do have a problem with make work, light up a Camel, sit on your ass type situations that we all know exist. There are a lot of WONDERFUL police, firefighters, teachers , military folks, ALL of which deserve a RAISE. I think we can more than solve the problems by reducing the size of our government, the bloated bureaucracy, and cutting back on the Social entitlements that we have seen fit to dole out. Start by taking out the Depts of Energy and Education. And let the teachers teach...

If we do not address this and get the amount of money that we're spending down - I foresee more of the same kind of argument, strife and even violence in our future. The business owners and the producers will join Atlas in shrugging. And when you want to blame "the Man" you'll have to look in the mirror.

A while back I posted that the Athens riots concerned me greatly when I heard a professor at a Greek university (protesting) say that he neither knew nor cared where the money came from - he just wanted his.... Holy crap, I thought, that place is going to Hell in a bucket.

Today I see the same thing in Madison, Wisconsin.

God help us all if we don't turn this ship around, and soon.
    WOW! Spot on.
    My thoughts exactly.

This whole thing sounds to me like there are a lot of teachers that cannot get erections.
Seriously though, I find it funny that everybody *****es about government, but when the SHTF, it's the government blood suckers who cry the loudest. Too bad TAX PAYING CITIZENS won't get out in large numbers and scream even louder.

Most of those taxpayers can't take off work lest they not be able to take care of their families and those who can call in sick to go protest using those taxpayer funded days to go demand things from the taxpayers.

I'm cornfused did I get it right? :dunno:

Your exactly right. Probably lots of folks would say the tin foil is a little too tight, but I kinda think it's designed that way.

Interesting. I have all of those things and my company is not unionized.
Rambone, I think the point leveraction was making is that unions have helped make working conditions better in America, for all workers. I would agree they have to a degree, but there have been other factors, such a WWII. We digress though.

This whole situation in Wisconsin is ironic in that the overarching problem is the State cannot afford to pay for everything, unions or no unions. OK, here's the rub from my perspective. If Wisconsin is unsuccessful in these concessions, many of these union employees will loose their jobs. Therefore, they are protesting against themselves.

The U.S. House Republicans just cut $61B from the budget. That legislation isn't going anywhere and if it did, it would have little effect on the U.S. financial condition. What's happening in Wisconsin is a preview of what may happen in other states and with federal employees.
