Why Do I Suddenly Feel So Dirty? (M&P-15 Sport II)

I picked up one of those a couple months ago. For the price I think it is a pretty decent AR. I haven't shot it a lot (200 rounds give or take), but so far it has been 100% reliable and quite accurate with good ammo. IMHO its probably one of the better entry levels ARs.

I bought one last year and love it!!! Mine is not a (II). Anyone know the difference? They look identical. Better get your ammo now. Won't be any after November.

The Sport II has a dust cover, Forward Assist, and 1:9 barrel.

I never understood why they sold it without a forward assist and dust cover. I have the Ruger AR556 and the FN15 MOE but this is calling to me as well!
