Oh, I thought you had! I didn't think it was too much like a soap opera before this episode. But part of the second half has been.
Sorry I put the thought in your head lol I am a week behind on episodes because I bought it on prime I don’t have cable. (I could watch it today BUT my wife hates the show so I watch accordingly)

Are you saying this season has action like the ones before? I’m not saying a show doesn’t need SOME friction and human interaction obviously that’s how you build the plot and characters… but as of now over halfway through part one of the 5th season there has been very limited (arguably none) action, that has been a big part of the show since the very first episode. Like I said I love the show I’m not a hater but this season is love stories and legal drama exclusively. I feel the past seasons had a better coming king of drama and action. That’s all.
I am with you. It hasn’t been great so far. Also 1923 has a long way to go to get me interested. I am a fan so I will keep watching but I am afraid the best episodes are behind us. :dunno:

I am really enjoying this season, much better than last season.

Not sure yet who is taking Jamie to the train station. Rip may be the obvious choice but my money is on Beth.

I'll have to unsubscribe if you all provide too many spoilers, lol!

I'm waiting for close to the end of season so I can subscribe to Paramount+ for a month and binge watch it.:spend:

From very early on, I thought Yellowstone was more or less a modern remake of Bonanza, pretty much the same setup, wealthy patriarch with lots of land, lots of other people trying to take it… of course there was no profanity in bonanza, but lots of other similarities.

    Anyway, just an observation.

You know, I hadn't thought of that, but you're right!

I have noticed that shows start off pretty good then comes success comes, the left goes off, then scripts get woke. Walking Dead comes to mind.

I have wondered where Yellowstone will go. How many times can they regurgitate the story lines?

Well, they've killed off most of the external enemies. Now it gets down to intra-family fighting. :):

I gave up on walking dead a few years back. Who knew that most survivors of the apocalypse would either be minority women or gay, or in most cases on that show, both! That show was a ridiculous shadow of its earlier self.

Same here on the walking dead. First few seasons pretty good then it’s just killing. Just saw Joe Rogan said same thing, he stopped watching when it just became “murder porn.”

The really bad thing about it was that they had an amazing lineup of characters and could have explored so many different stories, but chose to keep on with the woke stuff.
