Any of your statements.
I think banning people should be done carefully.
Just curious, do you have any proof to back up your statements? Links would be helpful.
If Chris is a member of uspsa and has not been banned by uspsa, and has done nothing at South Central to be banned there. Then where is the beef?
I know of a member of uspsa that was banned at South Central years ago. It happens and was justified then.
Perhaps Max does not think it is justified in this case.

I'm good with it as long as we start with the guys that shoot PCC.
... most USPSA guys have heard of Max Bedwell, and have great respect for him.
Shooters today, and this is not just USPSA, have more of a "customer" mentality than a "volunteer" mentality. They want to show up and pay their money and shoot, and that's it...
Customers expressing expectations from the provider of a product isnt out of line. It's how a free market works
The topic in general is match attendance decline, and here is the problem in specific:
And here is "Exhibit A:"
You think this is a business...but it's not. At the club level, this is a volunteer activity, where participants pay a token fee to cover the cost of items consumed in the match. Nobody at this level is making much of a profit. They are charging a pittance of a fee, to provide YOU with something to do on your weekend afternoon.
No club owes you, or anybody else, ANYTHING, other than a safe match where USPSA rules are fairly and consistently applied. You need to stop thinking like a "customer," and start thinking like a "volunteer." Don't like what is going on there? Get involved. Change it. Use your own good energy to push out what you perceive to be the bad.
If theft has been committed, that is the business of law enforcement. That is not the Match Director's concern, unless the activity is occurring on his property under his watch ("conduct detrimental to the match"). It is not within his sphere of concern what dealings a shooter is having with law-enforcement, his ex-spouse, how many people at the match are up to date on their shots, what portion can pass some arbitrarily-set purity test, or whether he needs to be installing transgender porta-johns with extra condoms for the PCC shooters.
In summary, what you are in essence saying, is that you and your colleagues are personally shunning someone, and you demand that every other club and match director in the area choose to shun the same person you are choosing to shun. It is a free country (almost), and you are free to do as you wish. Don't like what is going on at a particular club? Fine, vote with your feet. You have stated your reasons.
The club has spoken to your concern, on these pages, and has indicated they are clearly of a different opinion.
If this is all about genuine, objectively-defined "theft" (as opposed to someone being butt-hurt about a business deal that simply didn't turn out to their liking), you need to refer your concerns to law-enforcement.
Been shooting all over north America and a few other countries for 20 years, never heard of max until I went to a south central match. Y'all need to get out more
